In Advanced Custom Order Status for WooCommerce, you can define custom order statuses to manage orders more effectively. Follow these steps to create a new order status:
Step 1: Navigate to Order Status Settings
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Order Statuses.
Step 2: Add a New Order Status
- Click on the Add New button.
- Enter the following details:
- Title: Enter a title for your new order status (e.g., “Processing/ Paid”).
- Slug: Optionally, enter a slug for the status (auto-generated if left blank).
- Description: Optionally, add a description for the status (e.g., “Order is being processed after payment”).
- Click Save to proceed.
Step 3: Customize Appearance (Optional)
- Change Color: Optionally, customize the text color of the order status.
- Click on the color picker in the Color row.
- Select a color that suits your requirement.
- Change Background Color: Optionally, customize the background color of the order status.
- Click on the color picker in the BG Color row.
- Select a background color that suits your requirement.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
- After customizing the appearance, click Save to save your new order status.
Step 5: Test Your New Order Status
- Go to your WooCommerce orders, Click on an order you prefer and find your newly created status in the status dropdown menu where all order statuses are displayed.
- Verify that your new order status appears correctly and functions as expected.
